Metal Shell PBOF


  • 316 stainless steel bodies with naval bronze engaging nut (MSS-).
  • Optional material is 6061-T6 hard anodized aluminum (MSA-).
  • Bulkhead connectors available as a threaded or flanged version.
  • Cable connector plugs available in straight or right-angled configuration. (straight only for aluminum).
  • Both bulkhead and cable connectors use a removable glass reinforced epoxy insert. The cable connector plug insert (CIP) has a valve molded into the glass reinforced epoxy.
  • Tube size on cable connectors must be specified at time of order (see specs).
  • Up to 7500 PSI pressure rating in mated condition with back-potted bulkhead connector.
  • Bulkhead connectors open face pressure rated to 5,000 PSI.
  • Contacts gold plated per MIL-G-45204.

  • All mounting surfaces require a 32 finish.
  • Do not over tighten bulkhead connectors when mounting.
  • Care must be taken not to damage contacts in unmated connectors.
  • Lubricate O-rings with Dow Corning #111 Valve Lubricant or equivalent.
  • Keep O-ring grooves clean and avoid cuts and nicks in the O-ring. Replace O-rings when re-mounting connectors.
  • Avoid contact with solvents.
